New York City: The Statue of Liberty

While in New York City with my husband Steve, we visited The Statue of Liberty.  We took the ferry out and since it was February, we had a very cold yet exciting boat ride out to the island.  I was able to get some great shots and make the acquaintance of a pigeon.

This lovely pigeon sat on my foot.

Finally!  We make it to the Lady Liberty herself.
