Las Vegas for the WSOP (World Series of Poker)

One of my clients developed software for playing Texas Hold’em poker online. When the World Series of Poker came around, we were naturals to go since we were so immersed in the industry. We were invited by Absolute Poker to attend a VIP party and we got to stay at The Venetian - a gorgeous hotel on The Strip. Although Las Vegas was not one of my favorite cities, I do believe it is somewhere that everyone must see at least once.

What I did like about Las Vegas was the energy.  It felt as though everyone was awake and wired all of the time and it fit right in nicely with my own energy.
