It’s Official! Europe, Here I Come!

As you may know (if you follow me on Twitter, read my business blog or check out my Facebook updates), I’m heading to Europe in exactly 38 days and I couldn’t be more excited! Europe is a much needed escape from Canada, my regular hectic schedule and just life in general. Although I’m going to continue to work (hence the Traveling VA side of things), I’m very much looking forward to the time away.

My flight goes between Canada and Paris on October 3 and I leave for Canada from Paris on October 22. Three glorius weeks away… The only problem is, I have no idea what I want to do when I get there! I know I want to see Paris, Rome, Berlin and Amsterdam for sure but where else… only time will tell!

I picked up two books - Europe by Rail and Europe - from our local Chapters so I can start flipping through to see what catches my eye. There is really only one requirement that I have every day and that is to be connected to the Internet for at least 2-4 hours. That will effectively be able to allow me to work and travel. I’m trying to find a mode of transportation that would allow internet connectivity so if you live in Europe and have ideas, let me know.

So, I’ll be posting about my travels here as well as my preparation leading up to it. I almost feel as though I should start packing now! :) The only thing is… How do I narrow down my shoe selection?!

Last month, Trina and I traveled to Dallas, Texas for the eWomen Network Conference. It was a fabulous event and I got to meet so many amazing women and men and the best part… they were all entrepreneurs like me! Nothing like being surrounded by so many passionate people.

Here are some photos from the event…

Toronto, Ontario for FoVA

I traveled to Toronto, Ontario to speak at FoVA (Forum on Virtual Assistance) earlier this year.  It was a great trip and I had a blast connecting with other virtual assistants that I got to know through the web.  Here is a photo collage from that trip.

I have an addiction to taking photos of hotel beds… LOL  Especially comfy ones.

Trina (my assistant/sister), me and Rebecca (my other assistant)

Me before my presentation…

Learning lots… :)

Some of my virtual assistant friends :)  And yes, I’ve got Uggs on!  I like to keep a conference feeling real… :)
